  • Ruth Fleishman, longtime lab coordinator in ΢Ȧ's Biology Department, died Feb. 14, 2012, in Troy, following a long illness. She was 80.
  • Barbara Fortin, who retired from the Housekeeping staff in 2000, died January 5, 2014. She was 79.
  • Professor of English Emeritus Robert “Bud” Foulke died Feb. 15, 2023. He was 92.
  • Carol H. Fowler, a longtime member of the support staff in various ΢Ȧ offices, died Dec. 13, 2008, at Saratoga Hospital. She was 61.
  • Elizabeth Foye, a longtime member of the Scribner Library staff, died September 19, 2007, in Saratoga Springs. She was 87.
  • Eleanore F. Galant, ΢Ȧ's longtime director of publications, died June 25, 2006, at Wesley Health Care Center following a brief illness.
  • Henry C. Galant, professor emeritus and founding chair of the Department of Government at ΢Ȧ, died Nov. 16, 2010, from complications of pneumonia. He was 92.
  • Gloria R. Gardiner, who retired from ΢Ȧ in 1999, died peacefully on January 24, 2019. She was 79.
  • Harry F. Gaugh, an eminent scholar of contemporary art and a professor of art at ΢Ȧ College, died Saturday, September 12, 1992, following a long illness.
  • Patricia Gere, a longtime dining services employee, died September 11, 2018, at the Baptist Health and Nursing Center in Scotia, NY. She was 80.
  • Barry Goldensohn, a gifted poet and beloved professor of English emeritus whose teaching and writing inspired countless colleagues and students, died on Sunday, March 26, 2023. He was 85.
  • Professor Emerita of English Charlotte Margolis Goodman, author, feminist scholar, and specialist in American literature, died June 8, 2024. She was 90.
  • Jane Denker Graves, who helped shape Scribner Library’s visual resources collections and arts holdings during more than three decades of service to ΢Ȧ, died April 4. She was 85.
  • Gene Marie Green, accomplished musician and gifted teacher whose career in ΢Ȧ's Music Department spanned nearly four decades, died May 1, 2010, following a battle with cancer.
  • George Green, professor emeritus of music, died on July 17, 1999.
  • Clara M. Greenough, professor emeritus of health and physical education, died December 12, 1963. She was 91.
  • Lawrence R. "Ronnie" Greenwood, a maintenance mechanic at ΢Ȧ and, according to many who knew him, "one of the nicest people ever to work at the College," died March 11, 2010, at his home in Corinth.
  • Patricia A. Greenwood, a retired student accounts representative in the Bursar’s Office, died Saturday, March 28, 2026. She was 71.
  • Mary A. Greer, who retired from ΢Ȧ in 2000, died Tuesday, August 27, 2019, in Watertown. She was 96.
  • Jerry Grolley Jr., who retired as supervisor of grounds transportation in 1991 after more than a quarter century of service to ΢Ȧ, died on April 11, 2024. He was 89.
