Acceptance Statistics
For recent admission cycles, we have the following data for admission to medical schools (MD & DO), veterinary medicine programs, and dental schools. It is important to note, HPAC supports all students who apply and the statistics are for all ΞΆΓάΘ¦ students.
Overall, 84% of the ΞΆΓάΘ¦ students who applied to medical schools, veterinary medicine programs, or dental schools got into at least one program they applied to (on the first attempt, it was 61%). For those accepted, the mean ΞΆΓάΘ¦ GPA was 3.59 and the median was 3.63 with a standard deviation of 0.26.
- For medical schools in particular: 81% of ΞΆΓάΘ¦ students who applied were accepted
to at least one program (62% on their first attempt). Of those accepted to at least
one program:
- Mean ΞΆΓάΘ¦ GPA 3.65, median GPA 3.72, standard deviation of 0.25, range - 2.85 to 4.00
- Mean MCAT score 509, median 511, standard deviation of 7, with a range of 492-526
