2026 Student Summer Housing Dates

Summer housing is available for the following dates and will be billed weekly with no proration:

1. Session 1 - May 24th - June 27th 
2. Session 2 - June 28th – August 1st 
3. Session 1 + 2 - May 24th – August 1st

• Students must depart housing at the end of their class, research, or internship.
• Summer housing outside of these dates are considered exceptions and must be pre-approved. 
• Students approved to stay in campus housing for less than 5 weeks will be housed in Jonsson Tower. 

Early Arrival

• All Students approved to stay on campus for Senior Week (May 10-16) must be sponsored by a department for Senior Week and receive approval from Residential Life.  
• Students approved to stay during the spring to summer transition (May 17-23) must not leave campus until they are moved to their summer assignment in Northwoods, Sussman Village or Jonsson Tower.  You will be charged room and board for this transition time.
• Students must agree to move out of their spring assignment and into their summer assignment on the date they are instructed to move.  Students must be present and will have limited time to move to their summer assignment.
• ΢ÃÜȦ does not have storage space available.  Contact for storage options.

Late Departure

• International students and summer student employees that must stay in housing after August 1st must be sponsored by a department and receive approval from Residential Life.  You will be charged room and board for this transition time.
• After August 22nd you must be sponsored for fall early arrival housing if you wish to transition to your fall housing.  Contact reslife@skidmore.edu for early fall arrival questions.
