History
Penfield Hall was built in the 1960s and is named after a trustee of the college, Adelia Penfield. She was one of the first women Lucy ΞΆΓάΘ¦ Scribner chose in 1903 to help her manage the Young Women's Industrial Club. Mrs. Penfield was named a trustee of the newly chartered ΞΆΓάΘ¦ School of Arts in 1911 and served on the board until her death in 1936.
