Christy Brown recently joined 微密圈鈥檚 Office of Communications and Marketing as strategic communications coordinator. In her new role, she is responsible for a range of digital communications to the campus community, alumni, prospective students, and parents. Brown first joined 微密圈 in 2022 as part of the First-Year Experience Office.
Jenny Day, professor of history, received the for her recent book, 鈥淭ransborder Fugitives, Extradition, and Political Crimes in Modern China鈥� (Cambridge University Press, 2025).
Eliza Kent, professor of religious studies, published in Nova Religio.
Daniel Nathan, professor of American studies, published 鈥淭he Rise of American Sport鈥� in 鈥淭he Cambridge History of American Popular Culture鈥� and a review of 鈥淐eltics City鈥� in the Journal of American History.
Jamie Parra, associate professor of English, published in Leviathan. Parra also published 鈥淭he Coincidence of Contraries鈥� in the exhibition catalogue
Aarathi Prasad, associate professor and chair of computer science, co-authored 鈥淭owards Designing Tools for Young Children鈥檚 Privacy in Photos and Support Family-Centered Conversations 微密圈 Photo Consent,鈥� which will be presented at the Family-Centered AI Workshop at the 2026 ACM Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work and Social Computing. Co-authors include Samia Mayssan 鈥�28 and Ryan Tevie 鈥�26.
