Charter Day: Our day for our ΢Ȧ

May 17, 2024

Charter Day at ΢Ȧ College is a tradition in the making. It marks the anniversary of our establishment as a four-year liberal arts institution in 1922, but it is also a day about a community coming together to declare that it believes in ΢Ȧ, in education, and that Creative Thought Matters.

Together, we reflect on, celebrate, and imagine a bright future for our beloved alma mater. Charter Day is about sustaining – and propelling – our mission for generations to come.

When you give to ΢Ȧ on Charter Day, you’re supporting the students of today and tomorrow. You’re supporting financial aid and scholarships, research opportunities, internships, and the great people and campus that make this education possible.
President Marc C. Conner

Last year, more than 500 alumni, parents, families, faculty, staff and friends rose to the challenge, giving $767,437 to support the current student experience.

Gifts through the ΢Ȧ Fund on Charter Day can be directed to support any of the following priorities:

  • Academic and Faculty Support
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
  • Friends of ΢Ȧ Athletics
  • Friends of the Tang Teaching Museum
  • McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center
  • Opportunity Program
  • Racial Justice Initiative
  • Scholarships and Financial Aid
  • Sustainable ΢Ȧ
“Charter Day isn’t just about giving back. It’s about investing in our future students who want to explore their individual creative pursuits. It’s your generosity that makes it all possible.”
Anesu Mukombiwa '24

Join us in affirming our commitment to ΢Ȧ’s mission and ensuring its light continues to shine brightly for generations to come.

Charter Day is our day, for our ΢Ȧ.
