Welcoming new affiliated faculty member Kate Grover in fall 2026Kate Grover

Kate Grover is a visiting assistant professor in American studies whose work centers on feminist theory, gender studies, popular music, and American culture, and she will be offering Gender Studies 101 in the fall. She earned her Ph.D. in American studies, with a concentration in women’s and gender studies, from the University of Texas at Austin. Her teaching and research explore gender, identity, activism, and representation in media and popular culture.
