Wonder, Love & Sex

An exploration of the wonder and complexity of love, desire, and intimacy. Students will examine the modern landscape of romanceβ€”from campus "hookup culture" to the influence of social and gendered perspectivesβ€”by connecting contemporary life with classical theories of eros, mindful compassion, and the "art of loving." Through a dialogue between philosophy, sociology, and film, students will critically evaluate their own beliefs on human connections to determine how these relationships shape a meaningful life.
