The London FYE orientation is mandatory for all students and students should plan to arrive on the schedule arrival day. Students are not permitted to arrive early or late except in rare circumstances and these requests must be approved by Off-Campus Study & Exchanges in advance.
Arrival Day
Fall 2026: Thursday, August 27, 2026
All London students should plan to arrive in London on August 27th. Students should book flights arriving to London Heathrow Airport before 12 pm. Most flights from the United States arrive in the morning. There will be a designated meeting spot at the airport where students will check-in with the London FYE program staff. Students will receive guidance about transportation options from Heathrow Airport to the residence hall prior to depature.
Students are responsible for booking their own flight to London. ΞΆΓάΘ¦ will work with a travel agent to identify a preferred flight to London leaving from a New York City airport. Booking the preferred flight is optional but will provide students the option of traveling with other students on the program. More details about booking flights will be provided in April/May.
Orientation
Orientation activities will begin mid-afternoon on arrival day with a housing orientation and a neighborhood walking tour. Additional orientation sessions and welcome activities will continue through the weekend until the start of classes. A tentative schedule for orientation will be provided prior to departure.
