Dave has been a computer science faculty member at ΞΆΓάΘ¦ since 2014. He received
                                 his Ed.D. in Learning and Organizational Change from Baylor University. His thesis
                                 focused on the underrepresentation of women in CS. Before joining ΞΆΓάΘ¦'s faculty,
                                 Dave worked as an information technology consultant and CTO, designing, implementing,
                                 and integrating enterprise systems for manufacturing, financial services, health care,
                                 insurance, and logistics companies. He teaches programming, software engineering,
                                 web development, and data security courses. His research interests include increasing
                                 women's representation in CS, semantic machine learning, and data security. Dave has
                                 published articles on large-scale business system design and presents sessions at
                                 data and architecture conferences. He earned his Master's in Engineering and Business
                                 at Union Graduate College and his Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems at The
                                 College of Saint Rose. His initial collegiate endeavors began at Westminster Choir
                                 College, where he studied voice, keyboard, and music education.
